  1. Mercy University International Film Festival
    Tuesday, April 22nd – Friday, 25th - Free Admission
    Screenings begin at 6:30 PM in the Lecture Hall on the Westchester campus, followed by a post-film discussion. 

    There will be popcorn and coffee, tea, cookies after each screening.

  1. Tree Peony Garden - These spectacular flowers bloom every spring in late April through early May  - Free
    Rockefeller State Park Preserve, Pleasantville

  • Be sure to stop by and view the gardens which are in front of and next to the visitor center.
  • After viewing the peonies, stop by the preserve’s galley (opposite the visitor center) where rotating exhibits are featured and take a lovely walk on the easy loop trail around Swan Lake.
  • Reminder: NY residents 62 or older can park free Monday - Friday (except holidays) at the Rockefeller Preserve by scanning their NY State Driver License at the park’s parking lot pay stations. 
  1. Westchester County's “Salute to Seniors ” - Thursday, May 8th - Admission and parking are free

    A 45-minute curator-led tour of the Tarrytown Lighthouse.

    The Tarrytown Lighthouse in Sleepy Hollow is located at Kingsland Point Park off Palmer Avenue. Parking with nearby restrooms is available. The lighthouse is accessed by a 10 minute stroll south along the Riverwalk path. The five story structure includes four stairways.

2025 Garden Club Meeting Schedule

The Foxwood Garden Club meetings will be held the 4th Wednesday of each month between May and September at 7:00 PM in the Foxwood office.

New members are welcome - Bring your shovels and gloves and get ready to dig!
